Simona Stolnicu, MD, PhD

Dr. Stolnicu is a professor of pathology at UMFST Targu Mures, Romania. She completed medical school and pathology residency in Romania, followed by subspecialty training at MD Anderson Cancer Center (2008-2009), Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (2010, 2015, 2016), University of Granada (2007) and University of Trieste (2009, 2010). She has authored over 150 peer-reviewed publications and 20 medical books, including contributions to the WHO 2020 Blue Book on Female Genital Tract Tumors. A former Chair of the ESP Gynecologic Pathology Working Group, she serves on the ISGyP Board of Directors and the ICCR expert panel for Cervical Carcinoma. Since 2008, she has organized an annual national conference on Gynecologic and Breast Pathology in Romania.
