Dr. Lattouf earned his MD, Master’s degree, and PhD in Anatomy from Emory University, where he also completed his internship at Grady Hospital, a residency in general surgery at Emory University Hospital, and a residency in cardiothoracic surgery and cardiac transplantation at Emory-affiliated hospitals. He is board-certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, with a clinical focus on total coronary arterial revascularization and the repair of valvular heart disease.
Currently, Dr. Lattouf serves as Medical Director of the Cardiothoracic Surgery Program and Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Tanner Health System. He is also the Director of Online Medical Education for the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Lattouf co-founded The Gaza Health Initiative, a global coalition of over 50 healthcare and humanitarian organizations committed to improving healthcare access in Gaza by rebuilding and strengthening its health sector.
