Dr. Eveline Hitti is Chair and Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. In her capacity as Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Hitti has served as the ED Incident Command for the hospital since 2012, overseeing the ED preparedness and response to over 15 Mass Casualty Incidents during this period. She has also represented the Lebanese Society of Emergency Medicine on national initiatives for developing hospital disaster preparedness and response across Lebanon. Her scholarly work has focused on applying and developing evidence-based health management practices and mass casualty management with a focus on low-resource settings. Dr Hitti graduated with an M.D., MBA degree from Johns Hopkins University, where she also completed her residency training in Emergency Medicine
